Rohan Tapiawala is from Cary, North Carolina. As a Business Administration and Public Policy double major, Rohan’s professional interests include consulting, civic advocacy, public policy, and sustainability with a long-term goal of attaining a JD/MBA dual degree and founding an academic think-tank & law firm focused on corporate social responsibility. Rohan decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar because of the program’s focus on pioneering market-based solutions to public policy issues.
In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Rohan is also a REEL Scholar, an Honors Carolina Scholar, serves as a UNC DEI fellow, is a member of the Community Empowerment Fund, and works as an undergraduate research assistant at the Education Policy Institute at UNC. Rohan’s hobbies include writing, running, and spending time with friends.
