Gui Marinho ’24 is from Recife, Brazil. As a Business Administration major, his professional interests include microfinance, corporate development, banking and non-profit management. Gui decided to become a Kenan Scholar because he wanted to be a part of like-minded individuals who genuinely care about making a positive impact in the world.
In addition to being a Kenan Scholar, Gui is an Honors Carolina Scholar, a JWAC “20 under 20” and serves as a research analyst intern for Heliocampus. He is involved in Build the Hill, BRASA and the Venture Capital Club. Gui’s hobbies include reading moral/political philosophy and playing soccer and basketball.
