As we close another impactful semester with the Luther Hodges Scholars Program, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our scholars, mentors, faculty partners, alums, and advisory council members who continue to shape this community with purpose and vision. This spring, our students engaged in high-impact learning experiences across the country and abroad, pursued research and internships at the intersection of business and public service, and gained a deeper understanding of the social and economic challenges affecting society broadly, particularly in the business world. From our Fall Break Exploration to Washington, D.C., and an alum gathering in Atlanta, to Connections and fireside chats that brought in voices from diverse sectors and perspectives, the energy and insight our scholars brought to each conversation were nothing short of inspiring.
This semester also unfolded amid a time of significant national reflection. From the student-led demonstrations around academic freedom and civic responsibility to the increased awareness of mental health needs on college campuses, our scholars demonstrated not only leadership but compassion. They responded with dialogue, collaboration, and a renewed commitment to put the private sector to use for the public good. Today’s challenges are shaping tomorrow’s leaders—and at the Luther Hodges Scholars Program, we are proud to be part of that journey. We are equally proud to have you by our side as we support and celebrate the next generation of business leaders.
Warm regards,
Kim
