Announcing Our 2025 Cross-Sector Internship Partners

Each summer, the Luther Hodges Scholars program collaborates with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations across the globe to provide our students with a Cross-Sector Internship Experience. This initiative offers scholars a fully funded, eight-week internship in which they use their business skills and knowledge to address a particular societal need. We’re thrilled to announce our partners for this summer who look forward to hosting scholars from the Class of 2027:

CLIMB USA is endeavoring to mitigate the racial wealth gap by teaching and empowering individuals from underserved communities to build wealth through engagement with the capital markets. This entails providing experiential investment and entrepreneurial education through CLIMB’s Launchpad and Go4it! programs. CLIMB USA is piloting these programs in Wisconsin with the intent to scale its reach and impact nationally.

Go Global NC connects North Carolina with the world. As the first state in the nation to convene a cross-sector coalition of leaders from business, government, education, and the community, Go Global NC’s mission is to make North Carolina more globally engaged across the lifespan. Through its initiatives, Go Global NC fosters relationships, drives innovation, and strengthens economic and cultural ties to ensure the state’s global competitiveness.

The KAL Firm‘s team of consultants include nonprofit and small business thought leaders with extensive backgrounds in strategy, fundraising, operations, marketing, leadership development and entrepreneurship. The firm provides Strategy, Leadership Development, and Virtual Operations consulting to non-profit organizations, with a targeted focus on supporting Executive Directors of small to midsize non-profits.

Kenan Foundation Asia works in Thailand and the surrounding region to inspire students, develop skilled people, and grow strong leaders by empowering them with the knowledge, technology, and skills necessary for a better future. Kenan Foundation Asia provides tailored, engaging activities and boundary spanning partnerships to train, coach, and equip individuals to achieve their dreams.

Latino Community Credit Union (LCCU) is a bilingual, member-owned financial institution with a mission to provide ethical financial products and education to empower communities. By providing fair, affordable, and bilingual deposit, transaction, and lending products and coupling them with financial education, LCCU empowers its members to save, establish and build their credit, and pursue new economic opportunities to build wealth.  

The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development – a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization – is the only organization dedicated to serving historically disadvantaged, underrepresented, and underserved American Indian, Native Hawaiian, First Nations, and Alaska Native businesses and entrepreneurs. The National Center ensures these groups have access to financial institutions, are provided training and technical assistance, and engage in networking and matchmaking opportunities that forge lasting relationships.
