In recognition of a transformational gift that honors the legacy of a family with nearly a century of service to the state of North Carolina, we are pleased to share news that the program has a new name!
Honoring the contributions of Luther H. Hodges, Sr., and Luther H. Hodges, Jr., in both the private and public sectors, the Luther Hodges Scholars program continues as a premier business education program for future business leaders committed to changing the world for the better. With generous funding from the Hodges family we are able to ensure vital support for our scholars now and for generations to come, immeasurably extending the reach and impact of our program.
To recognize the generosity and impact of the Luther Hodges family, a naming ceremony took place on Monday, March 6 in the Kenan Center. This event celebrated this incredible program milestone and was attended by current scholars, alumni, Kenan-Flagler faculty and staff, local business and community leaders, members of the scholars’ program community, and the Hodges family, including Mr. Luther H. Hodges, Jr. himself. We are immeasurably grateful to the Luther Hodges Family for their investment in the program and look forward to seeing their legacy continue through the contributions of our students!
