As the fall 2023 semester approaches, we wanted to provide an update on leadership at the Kenan Institute. After eight impactful years of service, Dr. Greg Brown has decided to step down as Executive Director of the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise. Greg will continue his teaching and research as a Distinguished Professor of Finance; continue as Research Director of the Institute for Private Capital, which he helped found in 2015; serve as a faculty adviser for the Luther Hodges Scholars Program; and remain involved with the Institute.
Succeeding him in the role of Executive Director of the Kenan Institute is Dr. Paige Ouimet. Paige has been a faculty member in UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School since 2008 and has most recently served as the Kenan Institute’s Director of Research and the Associate Dean of the Kenan-Flagler Ph.D. program.
