“Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 and in the best interest of our staff, partners and attendees, the Kenan Institute will only be able to support virtual events through December 31, 2020. Our events staff has been hard at work researching digital platforms and developing best practices for going remote, and will be in contact in the coming weeks to discuss leveraging this new slate of resources to pivot approved fall events to a virtual landscape. We do recommend that all events move forward virtually for the fall semester, as the institute’s calendar for the spring is currently fully booked. Note that while we hope to move forward with in-person events for spring 2021, it will be dependent upon the state of the pandemic. We will continue to assess and provide an update regarding spring 2021 events later this year.
I am fully confident we can provide as engaging an experience for virtual attendees as we are known for offering during our in-person events, and look forward to working with you all to keep our stakeholders engaged through the end of this year.”
Considering this, all events for the fall including mentor panel sessions and the Public Sector Showcase (which you will be receiving an invitation to in the coming weeks) will be on ACCELEVENTS, an exciting software platform that the institute is using to pivot to virtual events. More information on this will be provided soon!
