I was born in Charlotte, but spent most of my childhood in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. I attended The University of Virginia as an undergraduate, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian studies with a minor in global culture and commerce.
My career has mainly been centered around startup operations, strategy and technology in multiple different industries and cities, including Austin, Atlanta and Tryon, North Carolina. I decided to attend Kenan-Flagler to further develop my skills and knowledge in both private investments and business strategy.
I am passionate about understanding the relationship between law, business and public policy, as well as creating opportunities for underserved areas, especially rural communities. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, live music, late dinners with friends and trying new hobbies. My most recent hobby attempt was gardening.
