John Liu ’27 is from Toronto, Canada. As a Business Administration and Data Science double major, John’s professional interests include sustainability, economic development and entrepreneurship. John decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar because the program speaks directly to his goals and values of using business to create positive, tangible change.

In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, John is a Buckley Public Service Scholar, an Honors Carolina Scholar, a Kenan Institute Ambassador, serves as president of the Sustaining Innovation Club and is a member of the UNC Men’s Rowing Team.
