Kesan Ucheya ’24 is from Delran, New Jersey. As a Business Administration and Economics double major, his professional interests include economic development, consulting, entrepreneurship and urban development. Kesan decided to become a Kenan Scholar for the opportunity to utilize his business knowledge and skills to create real, positive change for the public good.               

In addition to being a Kenan Scholar, Kesan serves as a Resident Advisor in Hinton James residence hall and is actively involved in the Minority Business Student Alliance and the Black Student Movement at UNC. His hobbies include watching and playing sports, going to the gym, researching financial literacy and passive income opportunities, volunteering and spending time with family.
