Lingmei serves as the institute’s MBA Program Director. During her more than 20 years at the Kenan Institute, Lingmei has taken various roles, including administrative, business development, marketing, outreach and program development. She spearheaded numerous Kenan Institute outreach & engagement programs to reinforce collaborative relationships with the institute’s diverse stakeholders on campus, in North Carolina, in the United States and around the world.

Her focus is on shaping student leaders, as well as providing students with valuable hands-on experiences at the Kenan Institute. Throughout her tenure, she has designed and led impactful student onboarding programs, the institute’s groundbreaking Kenan Institute Leadership Fellows Program, the Fellows’ Board Engagement Program and its annual Business Across Borders Symposia.

Lingmei holds a doctorate in city and regional planning, as well as master’s degrees in public administration and development administration.
