Pat Hartley is a Fellow at the Kenan Institute and has been a Professor of the Practice at Kenan-Flagler Business School for many years. In addition to his work with the Kenan institute, Pat is a member of one of the world’s leading financial services firms, working with institutional and private clients as an investment consultant and financial advisor.

Pat is also the former president of the board of directors for the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School Foundation. Pat holds a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University School of Government and Business Administration (now School of Business), and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has participated in executive management programs at Harvard Business School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
