Soham Joshi ‘26 is from Colombus, Ohio. As a Business Administration and Computer Science double major, his career interest is to work in non-profit consulting in the US or abroad, working to create a social impact in economically distressed communities. His long-term career goal is to create a venture capital fund focusing on founders from marginalized/underrepresented communities, immigrant founders, formerly incarcerated founders, people of color founders, and startups in Tier 2 ecosystems. Soham chose to become a Luther Hodges Scholar because he is motivated by the scholarship’s distinct focus and emphasis on the importance of people.
In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Soham is the Director of Financial Policy for the UNC Office of Treasurer and Director of Logistics for the Carolina Data Challenge. His hobbies include entrepreneurship, inventing/innovating, product and business development.
