Thomas Slade ’22 is from Greenville, South Carolina. As a business administration major, his professional interests include social business, sustainability and consulting. Thomas decided to join the Kenan Scholars program because he believes it provides the best path to becoming an enabled business leader for the social good.

In addition to being a Kenan Scholar, Thomas is a Kenan-Flagler Assured Admit, the recipient of the Ewing Schleeter Harris Scholarship, involved in the Undergraduate Consulting Club, a member of the Civic Engagement Action Coalition within the Institute of Politics and is the Director of THINKternships for Carolina THINK. Thomas’ hobbies include being outdoors, going to concerts, watching movies and UNC basketball. After college, Thomas intends to focus his efforts on combating climate change or income inequality.
