Yingxi Huang ’22 is from Chongqing, China. As a business administration and information science double major, her professional interests include entrepreneurship, social business and venture capital. Yingxi decided to join the Kenan Scholars program because of the program’s emphasis on research and for the support it will provide to help her become a change-maker committed to de-bugging the world.
In addition to being a Kenan Scholar, Yingxi is also a Carolina Research Scholar, Vice President of the Bilingual Debate Club, photographer for the Institute of Politics, and a business analyst with Consult Your Community. Yingxi’s hobbies include chess, soccer, photography, Chinese calligraphy, painting and reading. After college, Yingxi intends to work in consulting or investment banking and hopes to start her own social innovation entrepreneurship project.
