Jahara Dawn Anderson ’28 is from Durham, North Carolina. As a Business Administration and Media & Journalism double major, Jahara Dawn’s professional interests include finance, investment banking, and the fashion industry. Jahara Dawn decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar because of the program’s emphasis on professional and personal growth that is tailored to students’ career interests.

In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Jahara Dawn is a Phillips Ambassador, a Jim and Jane Wells Scholar, serves as a UNC Study Abroad Peer Ambassador, and is a member of UNC Kasama. Jahara Dawn’s hobbies include fashion design, investment banking, volleyball, interior design, baking, and painting.
