Max Haber ’28 is from Parkland, FL. As a Business Administration and Communications double major, Max’s professional interests include social impact consulting, mental health advocacy, and technology-driven solutions. Max decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar because the program’s mission of using business for the greater good aligns with his passion for addressing mental health stigma and accessibility challenges. He values the program’s emphasis on hands-on experiences and high-impact results that turn theory into practice.
In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Max serves as vice president of the UNC Chapter of TAMID Group, co-president of the UNC Chapter of If You’re Reading This, director of finance for Carolina Sports Consulting Group, and Advocacy Lead and Treasurer for Students Demand Action. He is also a member of 180 Degrees Consulting Club. Max’s hobbies include track and field, pickleball, poker, karaoke, advocacy, traveling, and following sports—especially as a Celtics fan.
