Ashley Hinostroza-Villacorta ’27 is from Conover, North Carolina. As a Business Administration and Media & Journalism double major, Ashley’s professional interests include advertising & marketing, data analytics, and public relations. Ashley decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar to be a part of a community that goes beyond academics, emphasizes collaboration and values cross-sector connections to make a collective impact.

In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Ashley is a Carolina Covenant Scholar, a Hussman School Assured Admit, serves as an audience engagement senior staffer at The Daily Tar Heel, is a marketing & operations Intern at DataWorks NC and serves as the social media & outreach coordinator for the Carolina Covenant Student Advisory Council. Ashley’s hobbies include traveling, Pilates, and baking.
