Cameron Layne ’27 is from Statesville, North Carolina. As a Business Administration major, Cameron’s professional interests include consulting, addiction recovery, education access, and impact investing. Cameron decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar because he is passionate about finding practical ways for businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies to come together and address real problems in underserved communities.
In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Cameron serves as the internal events chair for Beta Upsilon Chi, is on the community service committee for FBLA, and serves as a student leader in Summit College. Cameron’s hobbies include golf, basketball, tennis, traveling, fitness, and snowboarding.
