Cullen Haggerty ’28 is from Cary, NC. As a Business Administration and Economics double major, Cullen’s professional interests include finance, investment strategy, and data-driven decision-making. Cullen decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar because he wanted to join a community that challenges his thinking and broadens the ways he can create impact. He values the program’s emphasis on research, cross-sector collaboration, and experiential learning as a way to explore how academically backed insights can expand access to financial knowledge and opportunity.

In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Cullen serves as vice president of brotherhood for Sigma Eta Pi, treasurer for the PORCH Club, head of outreach for Business Page Turners, and is a member of the Carolina Student Advisory Board and Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Cullen’s hobbies include traveling, fitness, playing pickleball and golf, and playing guitar.
