Elena Abuin ’27 is from Houston, Texas. As a Business Administration and Environmental Science double major, Elena’s professional interests include sustainability, consulting, and technology. Elena decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar for the tailored mentoring, cross-sector collaboration and emphasis on using business to make the world a better place.

In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Elena serves as a business analyst for Consult Your Community, is a member of Solar Equity’s blended finance committee, serves as the co-manager for UNC’s Que Rico, and is certified as a LEED Green associate. Elena’s hobbies include dance, roller blading, and thrifting.
