Keniya Black ’27 is from Youngsville, North Carolina. As a Business Administration and Data Science double major, Keniya’s professional interests include accounting, impact investing, and non-profit management. Keniya decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar for the program’s focus on developing leaders with a passion for connecting the private and public sector to drive meaningful change.
In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Keniya is an Honors Carolina Scholar, serves as co-founder and CEO for Diverse Abilities in Business, is a mentee in the MAC Mentorship Program, and acts as the service & fundraising chair for Queen in You. Keniya’s hobbies include writing, cooking, and reading poetry.
