Linsey Shen ’28 is from Woodbury, NY. As a Business Administration and Pre-Health Policy and Management double major with a minor in Data Science, Linsey’s professional interests include healthcare consulting, social impact, and cross-sector collaboration. Linsey decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar because the program’s interdisciplinary approach aligns with her goal of using business tools to improve health outcomes, equality, and access. She values the program’s emphasis on leadership development, research, and immersive experiences that foster meaningful change.
In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Linsey is the CEO and cofounder of STEM to Flower, a patient access Representative at the UNC Vaccine Clinic, a certified application counselor for SHAC Get Covered Carolina, and a consultant for Chapel Hill Strategic Partners. She also serves on the Education Committee for CulinaryMed, mentors in the Honors First-Year Mentorship Program, and is involved with the IPEP Distinguished Scholars Program, Sigma Eta Pi, Alpha Chi Omega, Women in Consulting, and the Undergraduate Consulting Club. Linsey’s hobbies include oil painting, watching true crime shows, playing tennis, weightlifting, exploring New York City, and learning how to cook.
