Meilin Weathington

Meilin Weathington ’26 is from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. As a Business Administration and Global Studies double major, her career interests include social impact consulting and helping businesses actively uplift the global community. She intends to research the role of private actors in fostering international development and economic convergence.  Meilin chose to become a Luther Hodges Scholar for connection opportunities with other impact-driven students and mentors while pursuing enriching cross-sector internship experiences. 

In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Meilin serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Barista at The Meantime Coffee Company; Student Analyst at Build the Hill; Student Executive Member at the Asian American Center; Member of the Renewable Energy Special Projects Committee, the Carolina International Relations Association, and International Business Club.  Her hobbies include international travel, language study (French and Mandarin), singing, yoga, gastronomic endeavors.
