Risa Mohapatra ’27 is from Aurora, Illinois. As a Business Administration major, Risa’s professional interests include consulting, entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance. Risa decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar because the program combines her goal of making a social impact through professional growth and provides an opportunity to integrate her interests and career ambitions in a meaningful way.

In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Risa is the founder of Alpha Kappa Psi, serves as vice president of mentorship for Carolina Women in Business, is a student delegate for the Carolina Case Challenge, and serves as liaison for the Aaj Ka Dhamaka dance competition. Risa’s hobbies include painting, traveling, photography, and music.
