Rosendo Zapien Diaz ’27 is from Eden, North Carolina. As a Business Administration major, Rosendo’s professional interests include operations and investment banking. Rosendo decided to become a Luther Hodges Scholar for the mentorship and professional development opportunities that will help him grow and develop as a leader committed to improving society.

In addition to being a Luther Hodges Scholar, Rosendo serves as the director of finance for the Association of Mexicans at UNC, is a HeelGuide mentor for the UNC Learning Center, and serves as the Director of Events for the Association of Latino Professionals for America. Rosendo’s hobbies include finance and volunteering.
